" how are you are you okay and how did you gets so thin don't your in-laws feed you " dev said circling her and looked at her from head to toe
She rolled her eyes at his antics
" it's been one day since the wedding and you think I've gotten thin and now should i just keep eating there all the time " she retorted
" yes you should have eaten, dekho to meri bachi ko kitni patli or mariyal jaisi ho gayi hai " dev said, dramatically feignin tears
" shut up drama queen " aryan interjected
" I'll set the food "geeta ji said and went to the kitchen
" where are shivi and vihaan " ayesha asked
" shivi went to a relatives house with her parents and vihaan....." Aryan began
" yes and vihaan " she prompted
" vihaan is with Vivan bhai ( vihaan's big brother ) Vivan bhai is in india you know " aryan said
His word brought a slight smirk to everyone's face
" Does kriti know that vivan bhai is here " she asked
" No, she doesn't know yet vihaan was about to tell her but i told him not to tell her yet " aryan exclaimed
" Good job " she said
Just then geeta ji returned " come on now eat something then you can talk as much as you want " she said and they all ate together and after that meal everyone went to the living room and continued their conversation
IN SINGH HOUSE
After freshening up Kritika sat with nupur ji talking
" Kriti bache are you really okay " nupur ji asked
" Haa maa I'm fine how many times will you ask " kritika response
" until I'm satisfied " nupur ji started " do they all love you then " she inquired
" yes maa everyone loves me very much they all are good especially shiv ruhaan and manvi you know maa they all so good they always make me and ayesha laugh about something or the other they never lets us be sad " she exclaimed and a look of relief settled on nupur ji's face
" okay maa I'll go and meet geeta aunty alright " kritika said
" okay come back soon " nupur ji replied and she left
Kritika left her house and started walking towards ayesha's house upon arriving she went inside and saw dev aryan and ayesha sitting together and talking
" yeah and vihaan was so fat as a child like a balloon " dev said holding his stomach and laughing which makes ayesha and aryan laugh too, kritika walked forward
" oh so the chaos crew is having discussion without me " kritika said, crossing her arms over her chest a feigned seriousness in her voice
" no, you're the caption of our chew come on " aryan said, getting up from the sofa and hugged her
" yeah that's why everything started without me " she said, pouting
" hey either come or get out " ayesha retorted, rolling her eyes at her antics
" don't talk too much alright just bcs god gave you tongue you just keep blabbering " kritika snapped
" mind your manners in this relationship I'm older than you " ayesha said with a smirk " come devrani "
" shut up kittu " kritika said irritated
" I dare you to call me kittu again and I'll call rudra right now and call him here " she threatened with a mischievous grin
" I'll call ayansh jiju too " she countered with a smirk which instantly wiped the smile off ayesha's face
" wow this is how the fight between devrani and jethani happens i saw it today it was fun " dev said, laughing
" shut up dev " everyone shouted in unison
" come inside " aryan said and they both sat on sofa
" hey when are you both continuing college " aryan asked
" in just one week maybe " kritika replied
" your in-laws have any pro......" Aryan started to say
" there's nothing like that, everyone there is very good they'll agree " ayesha interjected
" and your husband's unhe koi problem nahi hai hai i'm sure nahi hi hogi or hogi to....." Aryan began
" we'll handel them " kritika said
" unhe sirf samjhana hai dhamkana ya marna nahi hai " dev joked and she rolled her eyes
" guy's I'm sleepy I'm going to sleep bye " ayesha said and started to leave
" what happened to you, you were fine just now " aryan said, a little concern
" oh let her go, she must be tired " kritika said with a smirk
" it's nothing like that kriti shut up " she said, irritated and went to her room
As soon as she entered the room she collapsed onto the bed and looked at her mehndi her gaze fell on ayansh's name bringing tears to her eyes and she didn't know she asleep
Downstairs everyone talked for a while and went to their respective homes
AT NIGHT
" ayesha wake up quickly ayansh has come to picks you up "Â geeta ji said, waking her, hearing ayansh's name she woke up with a jolt
" what maa when, where, at what time and how did i fell asleep " she asked in a panicked rush
" its 9 get up quickly fix yourself and come downstairs ayansh is waiting for you " geeta ji said and left
" come on ayesha now get ready to see that rude person's face again " she said to herself, getting up from her bed in a hurry and going to the washroom
ON THE OTHER SIDE
Nupur ji and kritika were sitting together when the doorbell rang
" I'll get in " kritika said and went to open the door
" what are you doing here " she asked rolling her eyes
" of course i came to pick up my wifey " he said sweetly and walked inside, she watched him enter and closed the door and come inside
" oh rudra beta come sit " nupur ji said and he sat on the sofa
" my mother completely changes when he comes " kritika muttered to herself
" please have dinner before you leave " nupur ji requested
" some other day maa please " rudra pleaded
" kritika are you ready " he asked
" for what " she inquired
" to go home " he said
" kritika go beta get ready quickly " nupur ji urged and she nodded going to get ready
A short while later she came back ready bid nupur ji and got into the car they both drove away
" how can you behave so normally " she asked her tone suddenly serious
" should i behave abnormally " he asked innocently
" yes, no i mean your wedding supposed to be with di but it happened with me and yet you're behaving so normally " she pressed
He didn't answer her question focusing on driving
" say something, why are you quite " she asked again
" BECAUSE YOU ARE MINE NOW, MY WIFE AND NO ONE CAN CHANGE THAT TRUTH, DID YOU GET YOUR ANSWER "
he said a little louder, looking into her eyes his gaze holding a hint of possessiveness
" but....." She started to say
" no buts kritika " he interrupted, for the first time she noticed that her name sounded even more beautiful when it comes from his mouth she had never liked her name so much before
" will you have ice cream " he asked
" huh ? "
" will you have ice cream " he asked again
She thought for a moment and nodded he stopped the car outside an ice cream parlor and unbuckling his seatbelt
" which flavor " he asked
His question made her smirk she moved closer to him as she come closer he swallowed hard and become a little nervous leaning towards the door she come very close to him
" chocolate " she said, a touch of sensuality in her voice
" i-i was talking about ice cream " he stammered
" and i was also talking about ice cream what did you think " she replied innocently
" i didn't think anything i'm naive " he said " you'll wait I'll get the ice cream " with that he quickly got out of the car
" this girl is going to be the death of me " he muttered to himself
Then a smirk appeared on his face
" i will definitely make sure to give you pain with chocolate for the first time my little tigress and i promise you will also like that pain " he said to himself and went inside the ice cream parlor
As rudra got out of the car she burst into loud laughter " cute " and said
After that they both enjoyed their ice cream and drive home
ON THE OTHER SIDE
Ayansh and geeta ji were sitting on the sofa and talking when ayesha come their and his gaze fell on her
" if you're ready shall we go " he asked, a hint of sweetness in his voice
She looked at him in surprise " look like my sleep hasn't worn off, sugar is falling from the bitter gourd's mouth " she muttered under her breath but he heard her and stared at her, she gave him a sheepish smile and cast her eyes downwards
" yes let's go " she said hugging geeta ji and they left
They both walked to the car and he opened the car door for her she looked at him for a moment and got inside he closed the door and got into the driving seat starting the car
Throughout the journey neither of them spoke she kept looking out the window the entire time
A short while later they stopped outside singhania mansion he looked at her and saw that she was asleep
" biwi " he said, softly
No response
" biwi " he said again
No response
" biwi wake up, we're home " he said again
No response
He closed his eyes took a deep breath and opened, then he unbuckled his seatbelt and got out of the car went to her side opened the gate and ' gently ' lifted her in his arms and she clung to him like a koala her face near his neck her warm breath caressing his skin he felt his heartbeat quicken slightly
He carried her inside the house where everyone was sitting on the sofa everyone's gaze fell on them, before anyone could ask a question
" not even a single word she's sleeping " he said and carried her toward their room
" you see bhai, the man who puts people to sleep without a worry in the world is now worried about his wife's sleep " shivansh remarked to rudra
" only bhabhi can fix my stone hearted bhai " rudra said and they both smiled
Ayansh carefully carried her in his arms from the hall to the room, he opened the door and entered initially heading towards the couch but then stopped and changed his path
Moving toward the bed he gently laid her down on the bed for a moment he quietly watched her sleeping figure and without realizing it his hand moved forward and tucked the strand of hair from her face behind her ear
He was about to get up from the bed when he felt a tug on his finger he looked at his finger which she has tightly gripped
He glared at her then at his finger entwined with hers he tried to free his finger from her grasp but she didn't let go he tried once more but again nothing happened
He huffed and thought for a bit and sat down on the side of the bed and started looking at their intertwined finger
" how small, dedicated and soft her hands are "Â he thought to himself " why are her hands so red it looks like if i bite her hand, blood will start to flow right now "
He lean back against the headboard a sigh escaping his lips as he closed his eyes lost in thoughts suddenly he feels something heavy yet soft on his lap
He opens his eyes to see ayesha's head resting there her soft hair fanning out against his pants
He blinks watching her then take a deep breath and tries to gently move her onto the bed instead of lying down she buries her face into his stomach a soft contented sigh escaping her lips and wrapping her arms around his waist as if hugged a pillow
She pressed her face deeper into his abdomen and drifts off to sleep, unaware while her simple act of affection sends ayansh's world into a chaotic spin
He freez every muscle in his body locks and his breathing usually controlled and steady becomes ragged and heavy this was an entirely new utterly foreign sensation
Ayansh the man whose very gaze could make people tremble had never been this close to a woman, no women in fact had ever dared to cross the invisible line of his personal space
Yet here was ayesha through no intention of her own causing him to tremble from within he swallows a little his throat suddenly dry and slowly cautiously looks down at the sleeping form
" bi-biwi " he whispers, the word barely a breath no response her peaceful sleep remains unbroken
" biwi " he tries again, a little more urgency in his voice
Still she remains stubbornly still her face still buried in his stomach as if seeking deeper refugeÂ
" biwi for god's sake wake up and let go damn it " he urges his voice a strained whisper of exasperation he gently pokes her shoulder with a tentatine finger hoping to rouse her

A soft mumble escapes her lips " umm let me sleep mumma "
Ayansh's eyes widen " I'm not your mumma biwi wake up or i swear i will thorw you out of this room right now " he hissed a low furious whisper that somehow manages to convey his utter disbelief and growing panic
" baby shark do do do..........." She bubbles incoherently in her sleep he stares at her a bewilderment almost disbelieving look on his face
" what the......? Which child did i marry, biwi what are you mumbling get off me " he mutters a wave of pure irritation washing over him
But she remains utterly unmovable a tiny determined lump of sleep
" how can anyone be sach a heavy sleeper ? " he sighs to himself the fight slowly draining out of him seeing that his efforts are fultile
He finally give up the struggle he lean his head back against the headboard, exhaustion washing over him before he even realized it the stange comforting weight on his lap combined with sheer emotional over load pulls him into a deep dreamless sleep
IN MORNING
The soft golden light of dawn filtered through the balcony doors gently kisses her face a warm invitation to wakefunless she stirred a slow languid stretch easing
The sleep from her limps her eyelids fluttered open revealing soft brown eyes that slowly took in her surroundings
She was in a bed a luxurious one at that as her gaze finally registered her position her eyes widen filling with a mixture of shock and utter bewilderment
